On July 20, 1969, American astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot on the moon.
Our collection celebrates this magnificent achievement.
The John F. Kennedy half dollar (1964 to present) honors our 35th president and features the Presidential Seal on the reverse. The Eisenhower dollar, minted from 1971 to 1978, honors our 34th president, who set the ambitious program in motion, and has an Apollo moon landing on the reverse. A commemorative "First Man on the Moon" postage stamp issued in 1969 completes the set. Protective case and certificate of authenticity is included.
