Lights work well. The color is a bluish white compared to the yellow white of fluorecent lights. The short bulbs were well inside the recessed fixtures; this limited the spread of the light into the room. I added a bulb adapter to make the bulbs long enough to reach the end of the recessed fixtures. The led illuminate immediately compared to compact fluoresent bulbs which take much longer to come up to full light strength.
