Outstanding low trickle Alkaline battery chrger . Hard to find and alkalaline charger. I just leave batteries in a couple days (sometimes I forget and might go 4 or 5 days). Those batteries that go green, I keep. Those that remain red or go to yellow, I discard. (I might give the yellows a few more days to turn green). I know of no alkaline battery chargers on the market for this price. I am about to bu a second one for my son. It shouldnt take too long to reach payback. Maybe 2 years? Any purchase that gives a payback in 2-4 years is worth getting. Cant say that for going solar, tho.
