I bought (2) two pairs of these (black/brown) for my wife. The Bass name is extremely reputable. These are true leather. They have become her favorite shoes, especially at work. She spends hours on her feet, and she says that they not only look great, but she doesn't feel the pain she feels from similar shoes. This is a super value price.
