Treasure hunting has never been easier. This Gold Digger® GC-1020 metal detector has both audio and visual indicators of depth and type of metal detected.
Treasure hunting can be very rewarding, especially with today's price of gold! This unit has a super large 8" waterproof high-sensitivity search coil that detects items up to 4' deep. In fact, it can find a quarter at a depth of six inches! Also features six levels of discrimination, three tones that indicate different metal types, adjustable shaft length, arm support for comfortable-one-handed operation and three operation modes. Two '9V' batteries not included.

Great Metal Detector for the price. just play with the discriminators to get use to them and then have fun. The third find was a 1963 nickle and indicator showed it to be a nickle. so far every coin has been the same as indicated with a couple found being shown in the junk range. if it says coin, then so far there was a coin. as all with all metal detectors you will find a lot of junk.

The accuracy of this detector is the best I have ever used. When the display reads $0.25, you don't have to question it, it's always a quarter! I have used other, more expensive (x4) dtectors and this model is of equal ability. Thanks for a great deal!
