The British pattern 1853 Enfield 3-band percussion musket rifle was one of the main infantry weapons used in the U.S. Civil War. Both Union and Confederate troops prized its reliability, quick-loading capability and accuracy, which led to more than one million being shipped to troops from manufacturers in England. The rifle's .577 caliber also allowed it to use ammunition made for the .58 caliber American-made arms that were standard for both armies. This detailed non-firing replica features a 38-5/8" barrel length & authentic details.
