We bought this item after a previous and much more expensive umbrella was damaged in a storm. This was identical to the much costlier version. It is very sturdy and good quality. Well worth the money. We weighted it down with ]4] 18" paving slabs and it works fine. Highly recommended!

This umbrella is a quality umbrella, I purchased it in 2007 and it still works great, every year I plan on buying another umbrella with the round base, this one has the long piece that can easily be tripped over if not paying attention but it still works like new, no rips, sturdy fabric. It is faded, hey, that's normal wear and I've never put it away for the winter and we have had record breaking cold & snow....this is a die hard umbrella! One more thing, the price has not changed in over 4 yrs. WOW

Great bargain-the umbrella material itself is thinner than is found on more expensive models of this type of umbrella but it gets the job done, is attractive, and is easy to set up and take down.
