I leave my blanket on year round, sandwiched between 2 sheets to keep cleaner. This is the 2nd Sunbeam Electric blanket I've had---the 1st one for almost 20 yrs! Tried others; this one can't be beat---in quality or for this price!!
I highly recommend it!
