The Galileo G-80095SPASF with Galileo G-SPA Smartphone adapter kit and Galileo Solar Filter Cap allows you to view and take pictures or video of the sun safely!
- Day or night, either used traditionally for night viewing of the moon, planets in the sky or together with the included solar filter cap to view the sun safely, you can use the camera feature on your smartphone to take pictures or video through the optics of your telescope, or use your smartphone to assist navigating your telescope view to your celestial object of interest. The telescope is mounted on an altitude azimuth yoke mount. It's easy to use up and down, left and right is great for beginners and casual star gazers alike. The G-80095SPASF includes a sturdy, fully adjustable, pre-assembled metal tripod featuring an accessory tray with slots to place four 1.25 inch eyepieces or lenses and retractable rubber feet.
- The G-80095SPASF optical tube assembly features an 800mm focal length. The primary mirror is 95mm in diameter and in mounted in a heavy duty mirror cell with push / pull collimation screws. The finder is Galileo's Mars-Eye Electronic Finder which helps by getting the observer behind the telescope without losing the surrounding field of view when targeting objects. Included with the G-80095SPASF are a 1.25 inch, 6mm eyepiece (40-degree apparent field of view), a 1.25 inch 20mm eyepiece (52-degree apparent field of view), a two-element 3x Astroscopic Barlow and the CBI Stellarium software download that brings skies over your home or anywhere in the world. As well as mounting to the telescope, the Galileo #G-SPA Smartphone adapter lets you use the camera feature on your smartphone to take pictures or video through the optics of your Telescope (or very own binoculars, spotting scope, microscope etc. as well). It also allows you to mount your Smartphone on a standard camera tripod (not included) for hands-free video calls, family photos with everyone in the picture, or anytime you want to include yourself in the action.
